I tell you what, I barely brought these heifers home in time this year. We have been having 2-3 calves a day ever since we got them home. Up until now it has been going real smooth but this evening I finally had to pull the first one and I just got in from finishing up. If I was a purebred bull breeder I would say I had to "lightly assist" it, but since I am not I will admit I pulled it. It actually was a real easy pull so it wasn't that big of deal but just like the first calf this was an event I wanted to let you know about. There has been nothing special about the other calves so I haven't talked about them. I can only hope that this is the only one I pull but I know better than that from long experience so I will just hope I don't have to pull to many all together.

You know, I just marvel in the jobs that are still hard work in this day of everything being made electronic. My hat is off to you, Sam, and all those who work like you do.
